Messes

So, we went to gym this morning. Everything was going well until...Ryann decided not to do the jumps on the tumbletrack when her teacher asked her to. Her teacher has children of her own and she just doesn't take it! She wanted Ryann to sit down and knowing Ryann...this didn't go over too well. Ryann ended up running out of her class and throwing a MAJOR fit (which I was determined not to cave into)! She wanted me to hold her and tell her that this behavior was ok I guess. I refused and told her that she needed to go back to class. Needless to say, this never happened. The fit continued as we waited for Maggie's class to end, out to the car and even as I attempted to put her in her car seat! Gotta love three years old!

When we got home, we had a time-out and a little talk about appropriate behavior and expectations at gym. Then the girls snacked on some home grown food...peaches, tomato and cucumber! They gobbled it up! Then they quickly started playing. Before I knew it, they had the big horse out in the living room and were doing a "play". For some reason Maggie and Ryann knocked over the horse (with Reagan on it) and proceeded to get in an argument. They all quit! A few minutes later, they decided to cover the horse and hide underneath all the blankets. You should have seen the mess. It happened SO fast. Blankets, pillows, sheets...anything they could find! I can't win!!!

Life is Good

We are "recovering" today. This weekend was amazing and I feel so blessed to have been a part of it. I just wish that I could take away the pain that Aviana's family is going through and do something to make it all better. Mallery came over for awhile to help me work in the garage. We didn't get a whole lot done. We loaded the many boxes of books into the car to take to the library. We also scheduled a Salvation Army pickup. They should take alot of the stuff we have left.

Reagan has gymnastics tonight. I haven't managed to get dressed yet. Soon. I love watching Reagan at gym. She has so much fun and she is good at it! Maggie and Ryann go on Friday. They have a good time too.

Jeremy just came in with Maggie and Ryann. They picked another bowl full of peaches. They are so delicious. I absolutely love growing our own food! We have peaches, tomatoes, green beans, radishes and cucumbers right now.

Well, I really am just trying out this "blog" thing. Those of you that know me, know that I am not the most technologically "savy" person. It may take me awhile to learn how to do all this.
